Tax Season Intern - Los Angeles / Southwest

  • Winter (January to April)
  • Summer (May to August)

About the Job
The position demands a positive attitude, attention to detail, friendliness, good organizational skills, proven dependability and the ability to stay focused in an independent working environment. 

Primary duties include, but not limited to: 
  • Prepare open item checklists 
  • Prepare missing information emails 
  • Prepare work papers (excel and PDF) 
  • Organize and source compensation 
  • Enter tax information into tax software (CCH) 
Job duties related to the internship are organized in three phases:
  1. Preparing checklists
  2. Preparing work papers 
  3. Preparing tax returns
This organized approach will help the intern understand the process of preparing tax returns from beginning to end.

  • Professional demeanor in presentation and dress
  • Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently and prioritize work
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • A 2017 Summer Intern must be available to work from May until August 14, 2017
  • A 2017 Winter Intern must be available to work from January until April 15, 2017
  • Immediately following the tax deadline the intern will be evaluated based on performance and considered for a full-time job position
